Yugen, c'est l'histoire de Clémentine, une jeune femme solitaire qui ne parvient pas à s'éveiller au monde. Elle travaille dans une maison d'édition publicitaire, Mondial Advertising, qui n'a de branché que le nom. Hors du « métro-boulot-dodo », elle partage son temps libre entre son chat et quelques sorties au sein de son groupe d'amis, dont l'impérieuse Anne-Lise. Clementine is a lonely, young Parisian woman who can't seem to blossom in life. She works for Mondial Advertising, whose name is probably the most stylish thing about it. From time to time she hangs out with a group of friends. Among them is Anne-Lise, imperious and eternally single.
